LE 12E PARCOURS CERAMIQUE CAROUGEOIS
Depuis près de 25 ans, le Parcours Céramique Carougeois présente plus de 20 expositions à Carouge et à Genève ainsi qu’une série d’événements qui en font un véritable festival de céramique. Depuis 2010, cette biennale internationale est organisée par la Fondation Bruckner pour la promotion de la céramique en parallèle au Concours International de Céramique du Musée de Carouge.
Du 1er au 9 octobre 2011, le 12e Parcours Céramique Carougeois propose le travail d’artistes de 14 nationalités différentes dont l’approche de la céramique qu’elle soit classique ou radicalement contemporaine, est riche et généreuse. Expositions, démonstrations et atelier, conférences, projection de films, librairie céramique, performance, cuissons diverses sont autant d’occasions de rencontres et d’échanges.
La diversité d’expression, la qualité et l’intérêt des œuvres présentées seront au rendez-vous de ces 9 jours d’événements céramiques qu’un nombreux public de professionnels, de collectionneurs et d’amateurs aura le plaisir de découvrir.
THE TWELFTH CAROUGE CERAMICS ITINERARY
During almost twenty-five years, the Carouge Ceramics Itinerary has presented more than twenty exhibitions in Carouge and Geneva, in a series of events that add up to a veritable festival of ceramic arts. In 2010, the Bruckner Foundation for the Promotion of Ceramics took over the organisation of this international biennial event in parallel with the Museum of Carouge's Internation Ceramics Competition.
From the 1st to the 9th of October 2011, the Twelfth Carouge Ceramics Itinerary will display a range of works by artists of fourteen nationalities. Whether their approach to ceramics is classical or radically contemporary, the artworks are generous and powerful. With exhibitions, demonstrations and workshop, discussions, film screenings, a ceramics bookstore, performances and outdoor firings, the biennial also offers rich opportunities for artistic exchanges and meetings.
Quality, interest and diversity of expression characterise the artworks to be presented during these nine days of events. The Twelfth Itinerary will be enjoyed by a large and varied public of professionals, collectors and amateurs coming to celebrate the medium of ceramics.
KERAMIKSTRECKE CAROUGE - 12. AUSGABE
Anlässlich der Keramikstrecke Carouge werden seit nahezu 25 Jahren jeweils über 20 Ausstellungen in Carouge und Genf gezeigt sowie eine ganze Reihe Events angeboten, die aus der internationalen Biennale ein regelrechtes Keramikfestival machen. Seit 2010 ist die Bruckner Stiftung zur Förderung von Keramikkunst für die Organisation des Anlasses verantwortlich.
Die diesjährige Ausgabe der Keramikstrecke findet vom 1. – 9. Oktober 2011 statt. Beteiligt sind Künstler aus 14 verschiedenen Nationen, deren Ansätze von einer gewissen Vielfältigkeit und Grosszügigkeit zeugen, seien sie klassischen oder radikal zeitgenössischen Techniken verpflichtet. Auf dem Veranstaltungsprogramm stehen Werkausstellungen, Live-Demonstrationen, Workshops, Vorträge, Filmvorführungen und Performances sowie eine Keramikbibliothek, diverse Brennverfahren und Gelegenheiten zu Ideenaustausch und Diskussion.
9 Tage Highlights mit innovativen Werken von höchster Qualität und einem breiten Spektrum an Ausdruckformen warten auf alle interessierten Keramikfachleute, Künstler, Kunstliebhaber und Sammler.
