Platform is an exhibition organised by Swissceramics, the Swiss ceramics association that brings together all the ceramic professions in Switzerland. As the only nationally active professional organisation, Swissceramics has been supporting the artistic development of its members in all aspects of ceramics since 1959.
Every year, talented young ceramists are trained at three Swiss schools: the CEPV (Vevey), the SFGB-B (Berne) and the CFP Arts (Geneva). To obtain their diploma, they complete a personal project called TPI. Every year, Swissceramics organises an exhibition of the best diploma work. Called Platform, this exhibition showcases the creative skills of these young ceramists. It provides them with a springboard for their future professional careers, which the association hopes will be fruitful and full of success.
